Fall is definitely my favorite season. I love making coats, jackets and layering pieces. However, the weather has been a little unpredictable. With warmer than usual temperatures, I haven’t really felt the inspiration for Fall fashion as I normally do.
With that being said, I decided to share this absolutely wonderful Asymmetrical Moto Jacket with you guys! It’s lightweight, great for this crazy Summer/Fall weather and the silhouette is stunning!
There are so many ways you can make this jacket. I chose to make it in a contrasting grey and black combination. I also chose a lighter weight wool suiting and a premium stretch lamb leather hide for the sleeves. As for the lining, I went with a fluid China silk in a rich wine color. Mood Fabrics has great vegan leather options as well. Fabric and color combinations are endless! I’m definitely going to make another one this season and I’ll post pictures as soon as I do! Enjoy!
